Rocket Girls (火箭少女101) was a Chinese Mandopop project girl group that was formed via the Tencent TV show Produce 101 China. They were signed to Wajijiwa Entertainment. They officially disbanded on June 23, 2020.

Members

Information

Produce 101 China, Pre-Debut

The members participated as trainees in the show Produce 101 China before debuting as members of Rocket Girls on June 23. The group consists of WJSN members Meng Meiqi and Wu Xuanyi (both from Yue Hua Entertainment), Yang Chaoyue (Wenlan Culture), Duan Aojuan (Long Wu Tian Culture), former "The Rap of China" Yamy (JC Universe Entertainment), Lai Meiyun (Qigu Culture), Zi Ning (Mavericks Entertainment), Sunnee Yang (K-L Entertainment), Li Ziting (Huaying Yixing), Fu Jing (Banana Entertainment) and Xu Mengjie (Zimei Tao Culture) who placed 1st through 11th, respectively, on the final episode of the show.

On August 9, Yue Hua Entertainment and Mavericks Entertainment released a joint announcement stating that they would be withdrawing members Meiqi, Xuanyi, and Zi Ning from the group. Yue Hua stated the decision to withdraw Meiqi and Xuanyi was due to the inability to come into an agreement with the company managing both Rocket Girls and their group WJSN, and Mavericks stated they withdrew Zi Ning because of health issues.

On August 17, Yue Hua Entertainment announced that Meiqi and Xuanyi would, in fact, participate in all activities of both their groups. Via Weibo, it was also announced that Zi Ning would participate in all activities.
