Ryu Hwa Young (류화영) is a Korean actress and former Korean pop singer. She is a former sub vocalist and main rapper of the group T-ara. In December 2013 she signed a contract with Wellmade STARM to be an actress and plans to debut in 2014.

On July 30th, 2012, it was announced that Hwa Young's contract with Core Contents Media was terminated without conditions and that she was no longer a member of T-ara. This announcement was made after rumors about the member being bullied by the rest of the group however, Core Contents Media CEO denied the rumors and stated that Hwa Young's talent as a rapper and her potential to be a solo singer were the reason that made the staff decide to terminate her contract. However, only hours after the press release, Core Contents Media also revealed an indecent involving Hwa Young that put in evidence her professionalism.
