SINBA

SINBA is a singer who debuted at the age of 15 in late 2003 through Warner Music Japan. Her CD covers were all painted by famous Amano Yoshitaka, most well-known for his work on the Final Fantasy series of games.

Information

Hailed as a "wonder diva" with a "miracle voice," SINBA debuted at the young age of 15 with the single "RESET". Within a span of five months, she released two more singles, "Hana", which was used as the theme song for the drama Toshishita no Otoko, and "FANTASY". Due to similarities in age and voice, she was most often compared to Hayashi Asuca. Despite her quick release of singles, SINBA hardly ever appeared in any form of media or performed live on stage. Even her basic profile information is a mystery, though it can be determined that she was born sometime between November 1986 and February 1987, as she was barely 16 when "Hana" was released.

SINBA's first album, tentatively titled PASSIONATO (catalogue number was HDCA-10143) was originally scheduled to be released on May 21, 2003, but was cancelled. In June of that same year, her Net-Club "Overture" was closed. The notice given stated that the closure was in combination with preparations for SINBA's new activities. So far, there has been no word as to what SINBA has been doing.
