SMAPxSMAP

SMAPxSMAP (also known as: SxS or SmaSma) is an ongoing weekly variety show starring the members of SMAP. It airs from 22:00 to 22:54 usually every Mondays on Fuji TV. It has been on the air since April 15, 1996.

The first half of the show entitled Bistro SMAP features SMAP members cooking for celebrity guests invited to appear on the show. Usually, they are spilt into two teams of two leaving Nakai Masahiro acting as the host for the guest; though this format is used in most recent episodes, this may not apply for all episodes. Once the guest is done eating, he or she critiques the food and chooses a winner. The winning team usually recieves gifts or, if the guest is a female, a kiss on the cheek. In older episodes, each team wore the same color of clothes. Now each member has their own color for their clothes: Nakai Masahiro - Pink, Takuya Kimura - Red, Inagaki Goro - Blue, Kusanagi Tsuyoshi - Yellow & Katori Shingo - Green.

The other half of the show features SMAP-members usually acting in comedic skits with other celebrities or participating in various games. The show is ended with a brief interview and a musical performance by different artists with SMAP members.
