Information

Sonim was one of the two members of the Tsunku-produced group, EE JUMP. Once the other member, Goto Yuuki (Goto Maki's younger brother) was caught at a bar underage, Sonim released a solo-single under the artist name 'EE JUMP featuring Sonim'. After the single proved to be EE JUMP's most successful one to date, the group put out one more as a duet and EE JUMP was disbanded.

After EE JUMP, Sonim began a solo career which now consists of a string of very successful singles and an album. Some of her single's B-tracks are solo versions of EE Jump's songs.

In September 2006, Sonim took the role of Oosawa Tomoe, one of the main characters in the movie Backdancers!.

In 2007 Sonim would return to the music world, joining Osawa Akane to form the group tomboy.
