"sweetness" is MISIA's fifth single. It was released on the same day as "Wasurenai Hibi", but different from that single, "sweetness" doesn't have a tie-in, in other hand both singles included "Itoshii Hito", but "Wasurenai Hibi" included a live version while "sweetness" included the studio version. A vinyl was released four months later, it served as one of the singles for MISIA REMIX 2000 LITTLE TOKYO.
It reached #7 on the Oricon charts and charted for eight weeks, selling 226,130 copies.
