TMN COLOSSEUM I is TMN's first live album. It was released at the same time as the other live album, TMN COLOSSEUM II. The album reached #1 on the weekly Oricon charts and sold over 575,000 copies. Because 338,500 copies sold in 1992, the album reached #48 on the yearly Oricon chart for that year.
