Togemaru is the 13th album released by Spitz. First press edition includes a sticker. A LP edition of the album including "Wakaba" and "Kimi wa Taiyou"'s B-sides, "Mamorusan" and "Okera", was released six months later. The LP was scheduled to be released on March 20, 2011 however it was postponed to April 13, due the 2011 Touhoku earthquake and tsunami. The song "Koisuru Bonjin" was first released as a live version included on their 36th single "Tsugumi". The song "Maboroshi no Dragon" was used as Bridgestone Blizzak CM theme song, the song "Enishi" was used as Yamazaki Lunch Pack CM theme song.
