Information

Umi no Yeah!! is the 11th best album released by Southern All Stars. It was released exactly 20 years after their debut single, "Katte ni Sindbad", to commemorate the band's 20th anniversary. The cover is a parody of 10cc's Deceptive Bends album cover art, and the album's title is a twist of 海の家 (Umi no Ie; Beach House). First presses come housed in a digipack.

The album reached #1 on Oricon charts, charted for 382 weeks, and sold around 2,445,000 copies in 1998, becoming the #6 album of the year. As it sold 346,870 copies in 2000 it also became the #60 album of that year, and as it sold 166,263 copies in 2003, it became the #98 album of that year. Overall, the album has charted for a massive 483 weeks and has sold over 3,523,088 copies. Even in august 2018, it reached #6 on the Oricon weekly charts.[1]
