2018 Spam Help

Who wants to start using this page again, since the forum is gone and unless there’s another form of communication we can use besides talk pages?

Specifically I need help with the Spampocalypse of April 2018 and what can be done to end it soon. Mierna (talk) 09:40, 11 April 2018 (UTC)

Styling

Aren't we going to use the old Theppn's style? I want to make sure because if it's true, I will reorganize pages with other formats to a same format that we always used at the old Theppn. Seph 08:24, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Yes, it's all following thePPN's format, so you're more than welcomed to updated any pages that don't follow the format :) EXodius 01:03, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
Doing some testing of an addon that allows you to share/save links. I know thePPN didn't have this, hence why I'm hoping to get some input from everyone here on it EXodius 06:42, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
So the calendar addon was a bust, but does anyone here have any idea on what sort of coding was used to make the random blocks for featured artists and oricon charts? I'll be looking at wikipedia's code to figure out how it can be done, so don't be surprised if it doesn't look 100% accurate at first ;) --EXodius 20:10, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
I think the Theppn used templates for the featured artists and Oricon charts sections. Does anyone have a source code of an old Oricon weekly charts, I want to update them again. Seph 01:44, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Discography Table?

What is the story with the discography table layout here? This presents an inconsistency for this wiki. For example, on BoA we have her Korean and Japanese releases listed sequentially. Why don't we do that here for tommyfebruary6 and tommyheavenly6? I do think it would be nice at some point to have discography data sorted in tables/templates, but that would be a project for another day... Emifox032 23:05, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Check out this, as it's styled more like wikipedia. While I know we're not condoning the copying of articles from there, this block shows just how unified other artist blocks could look like. --EXodius 06:21, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
We don't use discography table for Japanese and Korean releases, they go into 2 separated sections, Kawase has one because she is releasing simultaneously in 2 stage names. Seph 06:47, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Weekly Articles

Glad you caught on, Seph! After trying addons and researching tons of code, I was finally able to figure out how thePPN had its articles on the front page each week! I just added the means of adding Oricon charts as well, so please let me know if you need it set up a certain way or anything. Thanks as always! --EXodius 13:46, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

I'll work on the Oricon weekly charts later. The Theppn had 2 Oricon charts, the top 10 and the top 30. I think you missed the top 30 on Main Page template, it is the line (Click Here for the Weekly Top 30 / Daily Charts) under the top 10 charts. For example, for this weeks, the small charts is Chart:Oricon Weekly for 2009 week 22 (used for the main page template) and the big charts is Oricon Weekly for 2009 week 22 (linked from the main page). Anyway, thank you, I hope we'll see a large Asian media wiki back again by the end of summer. Seph 14:00, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Template:Sakamoto Maaya

Awesome job with the new template! I needed to install MediaWiki 1.15 really quick to get the v.d.e buttons to show up, so apologies for any glitches you saw --EXodius 06:37, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

The new template looks cute XD, thank you and don't worry about it. And just a small request, if the codes are too hard, just drop it (I know it's midnight for you), can you input an option to change background color for the title boxes. Seph 06:54, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
I'll try and figure that out tomorrow (or rather, today, seeing as how it's 1am here) once I wake up. Took a bit of going back and forth for the templates, but I think this will be a nice little update to the wiki since the other artist block styles have been the same since 4+ years ago when wiki.theppn began. Just need to make sure to change out that "Navbar/doc" reference to the artist name, and also fill in the "above =" section with something (although it's optional). Now to just figure out how to get "Chart:Oricon Weekly for 2009 week 22" to link to a chart category. Already got the variables figured (such as {{CURRENTWEEK}} and similar things). As long as I can do that and figure what sort of CSS wiki.theppn used for the Oricon charts (such as this) so they don't look plain :) --EXodius 07:03, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
So... do we have have to update all the templates to the new format? Just asking, cause I already did others but didn't post yet. --Hella 13:12, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
I think it's up to you to update it or not because there are some more complicated templates like BoA. Seph 13:17, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
Ok. But if the point is to create a more unified style, we'll just have to try. :) --Hella 13:35, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

I would prefer if we tried the new look, but it's not necessarily required (at least not yet) as I know we have a few hundred templates right now. The main thing that that I've been focusing on (not sure if anyone else is doing this) is to build this up with as much content first and then begin to touch up/add as necessary. At our pace, we should be at over 5000 by this time next month, so anything that may take hours for you to work on (such as only one artist's page) should probably be low in priority. Doesn't mean you shouldn't do them, but I'm just not sure how else to get people here to help us out to speed things along :) --EXodius 13:38, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
I see. I stopped recovering pages because I wanted to focus on my favourite artists pages, but what you said makes sense. xD I'll try to help out more to build this wiki. --Hella 13:57, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Oricon Charts Table

I'm trying to make the Oricon charts tables look like the old in Wiki.theppn, I managed 98% but I can't cut off the space between the number 1 and the other positions table like this. Any ideas? Seph 02:30, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

After trying various times, I got the css from here for the index charts. Check out how this looks for daily charts. If you meain the top 30 charts, I could've sworn I saw one that looked fine here somewhere... --EXodius 13:45, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
I rewrote that chart with simple media wiki codes but I'm still not satisfied with the look (there a a space between number 1 and others while the theppn charts didn't have it). I will try more with the new CSS, once it looks good, I will write charts for 2009. --Seph 14:25, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Hmm... with your revision, the 2 main blocks now seem condensed instead of filling up the whole area like before (hover over the link of wiki.theppn over at the LJ page to see how it looked). Since the CSS I just added seems to have fixed how it shows, I'm not sure what else is needed to make it 100% the same as before. --EXodius 14:54, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Seems like the new CSS somewhat doesn't work (the background color for numbers positions don't change). And thank you for your efforts, codes sure are hard. --Seph 15:14, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Any other ideas for the Oricon charts? --Seph 15:41, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

I was able to add a "Chart" namespace, but using the 2007 week 49 code as reference made it so the main page look out of place. Not sure if it's just how the oricon page was encoded, but I hope to have some sort of fix soon for it. --EXodius 19:37, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Hey, I managed it again! EXodius, how it will look on the main page? If there are something, please tell me, I'm using 1024x768 resolution and I don't know how it looks for you guys. --Seph 02:04, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
You're a genious, Seph! While the charts on the index are obviously from 2007, at least we know it works! I guess now it's just a matter of updating it accordingly, although I'm not sure how to make it 2 weeks "later" as you noted Oricon wraps up the year in mid-December. Still, this should be a start! --EXodius 02:13, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Some Visual-Kei band pages

What's wrong with the discography section? I just edited Kagrra, and I am too tired to arrange RENTRER EN SOI, why did they become like that because the archive follows the style guide. Are them copied from Wikipedia? --Seph 10:58, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Not sure what happened there as it doesn't seem to be one of the articles that was ported over by me. I've been ensuring it's an exact port of what was there before, but it looks like Hikari added the page? --EXodius 13:40, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
No, you added the page: Rentrer en Soi. I just copied it and changed some things, but I was too lazy to improve discography section. --Hikari 14:18, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Hmm.. that I did. My mistake then. Seems to have been one of the former pages from the old wiki. You're more than welcomed to change it out. If not, I'll change it when I get out of work later today ;) --EXodius 14:22, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

"Quality Control"/Formatting Committee?

One thing that I'm hoping we can all focus on is ensuring everything within the wiki is consistent. By that, I'd like to ensure all pages, templates, etc. are formatted as close in looks as possible. In the past, we had blocks with varying sizes and colors, pages with inconsistent formatting, etc. I hope a few of you who are active can also check to ensure everything is set up properly.

I'll also be looking to add a potential admin or two to manage the wiki, seeing as how the current admins here (FFW, Deli, and Wapiko) are MIA. If we are to have a similar policy as Wikipedia has, we need to make sure that pages have as many sources as possible or we won't be a credible place for information. Because of that, I added <ref> and <references /> tags. You can put something like <ref>This is a reference</ref> within a page and add it to the page below. For a better explanation, check out this page. In time, it'd be great if people say "and according to this wiki, ...." within news sites and other places, but I do know that we also need to build up the articles here to fix those empty discographies ;) --EXodius 19:57, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

I'm still not understand much about that <ref> tag because when I wrote for Wikipedia, I just used citeweb and reflist templates XD. About a quality control topic, I think we aren't big like Wikipedia and now things are still in our hands, Themonkeyofdoom and me are doing the clean-up and rewrite works. Anyway, don't let a post worry you (I don't like that post). --Seph 00:36, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
I agree that we should make things consistent. That is one reason that I want us to abolish the use of discography charts (the other is that, they fulgy) and Hello! Project and AKB48 release/song page formatting. As for the citing, I think it's a good idea. However, I don't like the reference tags. I hate the reference list at a bottom of a wikipedia page, it looks so bad and messy!! I think if we just put a citation like this or this [1] it would be fine. Oh, EXodius, if your looking for mods I'd love to be one xD! ~ Themonkeyofdoom 05:22, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
I prefer to use too, references are a bit confusing. Besides, I mostly use the Japanese Wikipedia to write the articles, but some of them don't have any references, so I'm not sure how to do that. @_@ --Hella 15:13, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
I think it is like how Wikipedia's reflist works, but I prefer the reflist template more than tag because I don't like the external link symbol. I think the best reference for a artist page is the official website and for a release page are Oricon profile and Sony/Victor/Lantis... profile (not all labels make profile for releases). About the style pressure on Hello! Project and AKB48, I'm not agree with it. If they don't write idol articles, no one will do it and they are familiar and comfortable with that style. At least, all Hello! Project and AKB48's pages look the same. --Seph 16:38, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
But if we are trying to make things consistent, then we should have all the pages the same. The male idol groups arn't styled like that. There were several styles on thePPN that people were comfortable with that we don't use here. Look at the song pages and tell that this looks better an this. ~ Themonkeyofdoom 17:08, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Regarding the H!P and AKB48 pages, I agree with Themonkeyofdoom. This is only because there were divergences back in thePPN and it never got resolved. I think Saa created the H!P style, then Wapiko made her own style and someone else did the style we're using. I don't see why they should remain being different from the other pages. Sure it will be a lot of work, and time for people to get used to it, but if we are to be consistent, we can't just let those pages be like that only because it's comfortable. --Hella 18:11, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Are you guys just talking of the Section styling? Well I can't speak for the H!P editors, but right now it's more important to get AKB48 more up to date in information than to make it look pretty. These imported articles are super old, and AKB went from a relatively unknown group to the first female idol group to sell more than 100k in the last 5 years or so. I do agree that consistency is good, and that the other style looks better... but for now the other (like 2 XD) editors and I have to make priorities. It's also pretty interesting that these idol groups release more than 1 variation of their releases, so there are tons of track listings which would look weird in the other format. If anyone wants to change them then by all means do so, it's not like we will get mad and change them back :P Rpger81 18:39, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Sure, updating is a priority, and you're doing a great job. xD I'd help, but I'm only a casual fan of AKB and there are other artists I want to update. We're just discussing that the changing of the style should be done someday, not right now or something. Obviously there are still lots of work to do in the wiki. --Hella 19:02, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

I do thank you all who've been consistently working on the wiki, as I had hoped others from wiki.theppn may have noticed this new wiki to make everyone's jobs easier. Still, I think we've got a good momentum going with these pages. When the announcement was made on the LJ page, it went from around 1500 pages to over 4000, and from around 9000 views to over 132,000. I know theppn had over 19,000 pages and 55 million+ views, so I'm hoping word will get out to other people/sites so we can have an even bigger collaboration. Despite my love for jpop, I'm not nearly as big a fan as I was, so my help with contributing to existing pages is limited. Regardless, that's all I'm hoping for now is to get the info here. As we grow to 10,000+ pages, I think we'll at that point be focusing more on accuracy and formatting than we do now. That doesn't mean that we should ignore errors when we see them, so feel free to make those pages formatted to the current style if time permits :) --EXodius 19:41, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Picture deleting?

Any reason why there's so many pics set up to be deleted? --EXodius 13:12, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

They are doubled pic, another version of them are used for single/album and artist pages and they remain unused like this and this. I just dig them up! Seph 13:19, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

New Admins

For the time being, I've promoted both Seph and Hella as admins! These two have been with this wiki even before it was announced that it would be the replacement to theppn. Both are usually on daily adding/editing countless articles, so now they can also have more power to do things like delete pages and ban spamming users (haven't had any yet, but you never know). Thanks to you two (and everyone else here) for your hard work for helping to make this wiki a proud successor to theppn :) --EXodius 14:13, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Woah, I just opened the site to find this! Thank you for trusting me, I hope to continue improving this wiki along with everyone. :) --Hella 15:08, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
Me too, thank you for trusting me, :"> even though I just messed with the unused files. Seph 15:46, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

New Feature(s)

One cool feature I added was this just now. You may wonder what it'd be good for, but concert locations come to mind. The idea here is to offer more features than what theppn had. Some may be good and others pointless, but feel free to let me know what you like/dislike and I'll be glad to help! --EXodius 19:48, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Bug?

I can't search pages that have apostrophe (like Johnny's Jimusho or SOUL'd OUT). It gives me a "Forbidden" message. Is it just me? --Hella 19:45, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

You're correct. I noticed this a while back while searching for SATOMI', but simply forgot to check it out. It's probably something to do with .htaccess, so I'll get that fixed when I get home from work ;) --EXodius 19:48, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
Ok! ^^ Thanks for the instant reply. --Hella 19:50, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Any luck with this? --Hella 03:53, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Sorry for the lack of a reply/resolution. I didn't find much luck other than it may not be .htaccess but a server issue that may be similar to this, so I'll remind myself somehow to poke at this during the weekend --EXodius 04:52, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

"Out Linking"

I've noticed that people have been linking things such as doramas, films, manga, and anime that currently don't have pages for to other sites such as wikipedia and dramawiki. I think we should promote our site more and leave these links open here, so that the pages can be made. If it doesn't relate to asian pop culture than we can link to the appropriate source. I'm currently writing a Manga page and intend to work on more anime/manga related pages. What does everyone else think. ~ Themonkeyofdoom 00:48, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Agreed. This is something that bothered me back on thePPN. I'll try to improve articles regarding actors and doramas/films (and some manga too). --Hella 03:14, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
Not a bad idea, but one thing I'm wondering is just how far we can/should go. Keep in mind that DramaWiki has like 8000+ articles on doramas and other bits, but I do know that a comprehensive wiki on Asian music is much needed and is where we fit in. I have no issues at all about adding pages on anime/manga/doramas/AV/etc., but I'm just curious of whether it'll be music that'll still be the focus or everything else related to asian media. --EXodius 04:05, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
I think for drama/anime/manga/game pages that we don't have, external or internal linkings are both okay because we are mainly focus on music. For example, I think we may never have page for something like Umisho XD (no, I don't watch that kind of show, just an example) and game pages are hard to write. If there is an article up for that drama/anime/manga, we can edit the page. Seph 05:35, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Oricon/Weekly Featured Articles

Are those able to be premade each week (or at least a placeholder)? Not sure who here mainly works on those, but they usually show up missing til about a day or two after the week starts :) --EXodius 13:47, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

You can make feature artist articles for future weeks by editing the place for that week. =.= I'm really bad at explaining, if you make a featured article for 2009 week 25 now, it will appear when the next week come. For the main page, it is just the cache, Crtl+F5/Refresh button than it will be renewed. Seph 15:39, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

CDTV/Music Station/Magazine Appearances

As a side project of sorts, I think it'd be interesting if we expanded beyond music releases and also highlighted when an artist appeared on Music Station or a magazine. Pages like Perfume's "Triangle" show some performances, but it'd be a valuable resource for those looking to see how many times for a particular release that an artist appeared in certain events.

Don't we already do that? ~ Themonkeyofdoom 18:03, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, we've been doing that for a while, more examples here and here. But magazines are trickier to list, I think... --Hella 19:27, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
Well, yes, I'm aware that it's done now on some pages, but I'm wondering if there is either some place/resource which may have some magazine/appearance lists to work from so we can get them up on as many releases as possible :) --EXodius 19:41, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

Current events

What will we do with this article from now on? Do everyone want to continue this activity? I'm working on a monthly release list for my blog but I'm not interest in DVD releases and concerts so I don't know about them. And I know the list is complete because I don't known all artists in Japan. --Seph 04:12, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

I think it's a good concept, but it is impossible. There is no way we could list a date for every release in Asia. There is just no way to list everything, much like that timeline we had with bands on it of when they debuted and disbanded. Also it seems pretty time consuming. ~ Themonkeyofdoom 04:22, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

Share / Save Add-on

Does anyone have problems with that add-on like me? It is giving me a lot of editing troubles like it pops up when I go to top of the pages and I can't copy things when it popping up, and I go back to copy again, then it pops up =.=. Is there an option to disable that thing. If not, can I have a request to remove that add-on? --Seph 03:55, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Done! I had been debating the addon for a while now since I was hoping it might draw in some more users to help with the wiki, but it was probably never really used. On a related note, any idea how wiki.theppn gained in popularity? Since you, Hella, and themonkeyofdoom are still the only main people editing the wiki, it'd be great to have others help on the pages you all maintain so as to not stress you all out :) --EXodius 05:43, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
Thank you! The Theppn was built in 4 years to reach ~15,000 pages and each era has its contributors. We can't done 4 years works in 4 months. Cheers up, we reached 1/3 our goal in 2 months, 4 months to go ^^. I think 1/4 of pages are songs pages which aren't high priority now (mostly Hello Project's). --Seph 06:15, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Korean Song Titles

How should we write Korean songs? Do we romanize it like the Japanese ones? Some Korean song titles in Korean have official English names (eg. all of BoA's My Name) and I linked it to their English titles. Is this okay, or should it be a romanization of the Korean name? And what about if there is no official English title? Should it be written as a romanization or an unofficial English translation? --Lambchopsuey 17:42, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

If there is an official English name, you should use it; if not, link the romanization. An unofficial translation would be too vague, I guess. I don't really work on Korean pages, but this is what I remember from theppn style. I hope this helped. --Hella 23:56, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Alright, thanks for the reply! --Lambchopsuey 14:40, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Single / Album Information Pages

Just a quick question. For the singles and albums (for only one artwork cover) page, which template is mostly preferred; the one with the Single Info Template (for example, used for the Kamen single page) or the old Wiki.ppn template (for example, used for the Aishiteru (Nakashima Mika) single page? Thanks! --Aisasami 05:13, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

We use thePPN style. We're still in the process of changing the infobox pages over. ~ Themonkeyofdoom 07:17, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Titles

I've noticed here and on ThePPN that titles aren't given the proper punctuation/grammar. Sometimes I see quotations around titles, and other times I don't see any. The proper way to reference titles is to put quotation marks around shorter works (eg. Utada Hikaru's single "First Love") and use italics for longer works (eg. Utada Hikaru's album First Love). I've followed this rule since I started contributing here, but Themonkeyofdoom questioned some of the italics because I'm the only one who uses it. I was wondering if we should keep leaving out quotations/italics as part of the wiki style, or start doing it the proper way. I just think there should be some way to distinguish a title because it seems messy when not even quotations are used.

Also, is there a preferred structure for first sentence on a single/album page? I see both "title" is the nth single released by name and "title" is name's nth single. --Lambchopsuey 04:46, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

I'll try and bring this up with our veterans as a solid style for all aspects of page formatting (not just the page layout) needs to be drafted to avoid confusion. Should hopefully have something soon. --EXodius 16:22, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Wikipedia Articles/Copying

First off, apologies for my absense as of late. While I still try and maintain pages and updating old ones from cached pages, it is at least nice to see new people helping out with our "oldies" Seph, Hella, and Themonkeyofdoom. Anyways, what I wanted to bring up is Wikipedia pages. The official stance is that we should not copy pages from there, but what of pages made by someone at Wikipedia and that author also copied it here? For instance, I saw this thread at JPM regarding someone who wrote up the Maki Goto page at Wikipedia and it was deleted here due to it being a "copied page". Of course, we can't follow up on every page, but I'm hoping we don't tarnish the reputation of the wiki due to any conflicting views/policies that aren't known to other members.

A few months ago, I mentioned making this place a more solid source for info and I still intend to get us to that point. Nonfactual info, broken/outdated images, pages that aren't formatted correctly... All of this needs to be resolved soon as we're only getting more people visiting each day. Would hate to think someone would be put off by our wiki due to us not understanding a situation fully or knowing we have people who work on both Wikipedia and here :) --EXodius 16:22, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

It is me who edited that page, s/he only wrote avex part of Goto Maki's Wikipedia page but s/he copied all biography here (including references and nihongo template... from Wikipedia) and claimed that s/he wrote all Wikipedia page. That it is why I edited the page. Seph 16:33, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

International Support?

I was browsing around google for links to the wiki (for whatever reason, we're not being archived that much), I came across this page which simply looks like an Indonesian version of the page here. It made me think that, similar to wikipedia's international support, as to whether A) it'd be a good idea to attempt this, and B) if we could find such translators for all the pages. Of course, the goal as it stands is to simply build up an english asian media wiki, but I'm not sure if such a side project is this is feasable given a few months from now, we could have 15,000+ pages. Thoughts? --EXodius 20:21, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Anime / Movie Names

I'm thinking about what we will do with movie or anime names, I'm not good at explaining but I will try. If a movie name is GATE, its page name should be GATE or Gate (movie)? And its soundtrack album name is GATE Original Soundtrack, the page is GATE Original Soundtrack or Gate Original Soundtrack? If it me, I'm going with GATE and GATE Original Soundtrack, what your opinions? Seph 15:45, 14 September 2009 (UTC)

I think it should be the same as the artist pages, and we use their crazy spellings. We already have pages like NANA (anime), NANA 2, NANA (manga). I think GATE (film) should be used, since there is most likely a song somewhere also named gate. ~ Themonkeyofdoom 19:26, 14 September 2009 (UTC)

In case anyone is wondering, a donate button has been added to the site as I would like to eventually get the site on a better server and would like to avoid ever adding any sort of ads to the wiki. The site as it is doesn't cost that much, but anything to help with an eventual dedicated server would be appreciated. The current one can handle the load, but I'm simply concerned should the site start getting a million+ views every month (or less) as it's on a shared server. --EXodius 06:48, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

TBA?

Much like what Wikipedia does is it ok to put TBA when we know of an album but not sure when it will be released? Krazoom 03:14, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

Music Shows

First of all - hello everyone! I'm a huge fan of television music shows and would like to help with the articles about them. I've started with Bokura no Ongaku, filling the dates, guests and performances for each episode. As I'm new here and not very experienced I would appreciate your suggestions about how to improve the layout of the article (if you see any flaws - as far as I know there is no given layout for music shows, is there?) or what other additional information to put in it. If you find it useful and all right, I would happily finish the article. Thank you for your help! Miss whatever 21:23, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

JS! Wiki Forum to replace the Community Portal

A new feature I added is the new JS! wiki forums which should be more efficient in dealing with suggestions and issues:

Let me know what you think! Assuming all goes well, this will be replacing this page (it'll still exist, but the link to it on the navigation bar on the left will go to the forum) this weekend. Thanks! --EXodius 13:32, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

What's happening?

Since I think (:D or maybe just me) that everyone don't like forums ('cause they don't display in Recent Changes), so I just bring back the old guy.

  • First I want to say "Congratulation!" to all of us for 15,000 pages in one year (I remember that EXodius started to retrieve data in February or March of last year I start to edit in April). We will surpass the old Theppn soon, thanks to everyone's hard works.
  • Second, I really don't know what is happening here. Suddenly Plisskin got blocked by Zeli17 then Zelí7 say s/he isn't Zeli17 and got blocked and a long list of discussion in some user pages that I can't follow (and understand) everything. So can we all sit down (in one place) and talk so that this mess won't happen in the future? --Seph 02:20, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Do we have a group that's outside of the wiki, like an MSN group or something along those lines Seph? --Solarblade 02:35, 4 April
So far I known, I think we don't have an outside group and we are using forums to discuss things. Wiki.Theppn has this. Maybe we can ask EXodius to create one :D. Now we are working as a community, it nice to get know of each others. --Seph 03:31, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
