ALI PROJECT promoting Kitei no Tsurugi (2008)

ALI PROJECT is a two-piece Japanese pop band influenced by the Gothic Lolita style. They made their debut in 1988 as Ali (Ant) Project (蟻プロジェクト) with the album "Gensō Teien". In 1992 they changed their name into Ali Project (アリ・プロジェクト- katakana only). They are also known as Ali Pro (アリプロ). Most albums where released under Toshiba-EMI, Victor Entertainment and Tokuma Japan.
