Information
D-LOOP was formed when Hayama, Yamakawa, and MINAMI were assigned to create a group. The group was called Dimension Loop but was shortened to D-LOOP when Hayama's friend thought the shorten name fitted the group well.
The group released their first single in 1997, entitled "Just place of love". However, after the third single, D-LOOP was put on a hiatus because guitarist Yamakawa quit the group and MINAMI later took a break because of poor health. However, Hayama went onto composing for many of avex's groups like AN-J, w-inds, and etc.
In 2004, D-LOOP came back from hiatus with Hayama and MINAMI, releasing their comeback single "Destination" in March. They also released their first-ever album, grace mode, two months later with songs that were written by MINAMI. However, according to Hayama, the album provided a closing chapter to group and the group disbanded after it.
