This category lists known Asian celebrities who have given a false birthdate to the public. Most artists in their mid- to late-20s seem to do this more often than others because they are closer to turning 30. It is theorized that because this age is seen as an old age in Japan (time to settle down, raise a family), it's unattractive to be a musician or a gravure idol, for examples. This most often happens with celebrities of this genre.
