She began her music activities as an artist in Tokyo in January 2017. She released the Fukuoka limited single "Hangyojin" in May and a nationwide distributed mini-album Sankaku Tobira no Mukougawa in July. Besides singing and songwriting, edda also creates dioramas and illustrations and draws her own jacket artwork.
