Information
Before their training, the band was two bands. The women of the band were in the band G-Seven, and the men, BAMBOO. These bands disbanded in 2004, becoming ,later that year, only one band, Hearts Grow.
Hearts Grow formed in 2004 after several music-lovers met in northern Okinawa at Ajisai Ongaku Mura, a practice studio near an Okinawan high school. They began performing street lives in Okinawa and soon after in 2005 released their first mini-album on the Ajisai label. They were later signed to Sony Music and in fall 2006 released their first major single on the label. Their single to follow, "Yura Yura", was used as the ninth opening theme to the anime Naruto.
They are known for performing the ninth opening of Naruto, Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z's fourth ending, the fourth opening for Gintama, and the first opening of Tetsuwan Birdy: Decode.
In 2008, Yuuya had to leave the band, the ground breaking his elbow. So Kusunose Takuya the band "Hystreric Blue", joined the band to replace him, but was not officially in the band.
The band went on hiatus currently undetermined, for some disagreements in the group and the death of Nakasone, who was the president of Ajisai Music.
