Information
Jurin was formed in July 2013 when it was announced that they would release their first single "Hotaru Matsuri no Hi" (ほたる祭りの日) at the 2013 Hello! Project Summer concerts. They were formed to be part of the Hello! Project SATOYAMA Movement, a movement that aims to remind Japan of their beautiful countrysides (Satoyama) and the need to conserve them. The group's name comes from combining one kanji from each member's name.
