In june of 2001, after seeing them live [[AKIRA (baroque)|AKIRA]] (ex-[[Shiver]]) asked the vocalist of kannivalism [[Ryou]], to join his new band [[baroque]] with ex-[[After Effect]] bassist [[Bansaku]]. Ryou accepted it, and he offered [[Kei]] (the guitarist of Kannivalism) to join as the 2nd guitarist of the band. kannivalism disbanded in june, their bassist [[Yuchi|8342]] and the drummer [[Kiri]] joined the band [[Porori]]. After three years together, baroque disbanded in 2004 and they all seemed to be quiting the music industry. But in 2005 Ryou and Kei announced that they were reviving kannivalism and 8342 joined the band again with his new name, Yuchi. They've just released their 1st mini-album [[Soukou Humority|Soukou humority]] on april 26th, 2006. They have a catchy, upbeat quirky-jazz sound, alot like baroque before they went major. Their style is [[Oshare-Kei]], which is known for being stylist and fun, also like baroque. They will go major and release their first major single, [[Ritori]] on September 27th.

kannivalism is a Japanese rock band from Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. They started out as a visual-kei band and first formed sometime in the summer of 2001. After their one man live at Meguro Rockmaykan on June 20th, 2001 kannivalism disbanded. Four years later, in December, the group reformed and changed their look to a more mainstream one. They have a catchy, upbeat quirky jazz-like sound, much like baroque (Ryou and Kei's previous band).
