Kubota Masahiko (クボタマサヒコ) is a Japanese artist and the CEO of the indies label CAPTAIN HAUS RECORDINGS and the store TONiKHA.

Kubota's BEAT CRUSADERS mask

Kubota Masahiko debuted in 2000 as the vocalist and guitarist of the punk band popcatcher, however they disbanded the following year, in 2001. On the next two years he worked as guitarist on the disbanded rock band BADWAGON and the un-debuted AVANTI.

In December 2003, he joined as the bassist of the disbanded group BEAT CRUSADERS. Currently, he is the vocalist and guitarist of the rock band kuh. He is also a member, along fellow BEAT CRUSADERS members Mashiita and Katou Tarou, of the un-debuted band TOQUIO LEQUIO TEQUNOS (originally called RYUKYU CRUSADERS), which mixes rock and techno music.

Trivia

  • He has kept BEAT CRUSADERS tradition of hiding their faces, and he always appears with his face in shadows or blurred in photos.
