In 2003, and in commemoration of the group' 25th anniversary, the single was reissued in LP and 12cm CD limited editions (limited to 250,000 copies). The CD edition was housed in a special box including commemorative goods and featuring the instrumental track.

The original release debuted at #132 on Oricon charts, but eventually reached #55. The 1988 8cm CD reissue reached #3 on Oricon charts, and charted for 35 weeks. The 2003 Special Box edition reached #1 on Oricon charts, and charted for 10 weeks, selling 290,595 copies and becoming the #23 single of that year.
