- Information
"Katte ni Sindbad" is the debut single released by Southern All Stars. The title track was used as Mitsuya Cider CM theme song. In 2003, and in commemoration of the group' 25th anniversary, the single was reissued in LP and 12cm CD limited editions (limited to 250,000 copies). The CD edition was housed in a special box including commemorative goods and featuring the instrumental track.
The original release debuted at #132 on Oricon charts, but eventually reached #55. The 1988 8cm CD reissue reached #3 on Oricon charts, and charted for 35 weeks. The 2003 Special Box edition reached #1 on Oricon charts, and charted for 10 weeks, selling 290,595 copies and becoming the #23 single of that year.
