The song is the third track from their self titled debut mini-album "2NE1", and is described as "a slow paced R&B track with lyrics conveying a story of a girl who tries to escape her pain of loving a playboy in the club for one night". 2NE1 performed "In The Club" at their good bye stage for the mini-album promotions on September 13, 2009 at Inkigayo.
