9nine (pronounced as nine) is a 9 person unit, formed in 2006, under LesPros entertainment. They receive great support from school girls, ranging from primary school to high school. They actively participate in the media scene as magazine models, actresses and variety regulars.

In 2007, Matsuzawa Azusa and Wagatsuma Miwako withdrew from 9nine. Shimogaki Madoka and Kawashima Umika joined in as new members.
