Originally the group debuted as a three member ballad/vocal group with the digital single "Jugeunsarang" in November 2010. One year after the release of the single, in 2011, they made their comeback as a duo, without Lee Hyo Chan, with the digital mini-album A-ble's Impact, and changed their stage name from Able to A-ble.
Almost one year later, in September 2012, they made once again a comeback with Able's 1st Album, and this time as a four member group. For this 2012 comeback, they changed the group name again from A-ble to Able and also changed the group style to a more pop/dance oriented sound.
