After School (애프터스쿨) is a Korean pop girl group, formed by Pledis Entertainment.

Information
After School trained for two years and was unveiled in December 2008 at the SBS Gayo Daejeon where they performed with Son Dam Bi the song Play Girlz. Son Dam Bi was speculated to have joined the group, however it was later confirmed that Dam Bi would not be a part of After School.
Initially a 5 member girl group modeled after the Pussycat Dolls, After School officially debuted at Music Core on January 17, 2009 with the performances of Ah! and Play Girlz.
In March 2009, Pledis Entertainment announced the addition of a new member to the group, UEE. As a 6 member group, After School released their second first single, DIVA.

On October 29, 2009, Yoo Soo Young graduated from After School. It was said that health and studies were the reasons for her graduation.
Half month after, in November, two new members joined the group, Raina and Nana.
