Aira Mitsuki (BARBiE BARBiE)

Aira Mitsuki (アイラ ミツキ) is a technopop singer produced by Oonishi Terukado. Her career started when she was chosen the winner of the MEGA TRANCE 2008 Utahime Auditions in 2007. In collaboriation with D-topia Entertainment, the auditions were to find a technopop idol out of 6,327 applicants.

She debuted with Colorful Tokyo Sounds NO.9 on August 8th, 2007 through the indies label FARM RECORDS (the label MEGA TRANCE CDs are released through). The titular song was used as the official song for the Japanese "Transformers Café", based on the film Transformers. She also was a guest performer at the MTV-sponsored event for the film on July 25th, 2007.

In January of 2008, she had her first international club performance in Beijing, China. Her first major single China Discotica, which was released two months later on March 5th is a respect song for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
