"Ao no Daichi" is the seventh single released by Shinko Syukyo Gakudan NoGoD. It is the last entry in a two consecutive month single release plan, with "Midori no Kaze" being the first. Unlike the previous single, only track #1 was later placed on their second album Gokusaishiki. This is a limited release having only 5,000 copies. The single reached #175 on the major Oricon charts, where it charted for a week.
