Information

Baby Don't Cry is Amuro Namie's 30th single. It was used as the theme song for the dorama Himitsu no Hanazono. Baby Don't Cry is a mid-tempo ballad. The B-side, Nobody was originally planned for the White Light / Violet Sauce single, but was changed in the last minute. Nobody also has the same music as White Light. This single was released in two versions; a CD+DVD version as well as a CD only version.

Baby Don't Cry is Amuro's first single in six years to sell over 50,000 copies in the first week and it is the highest-selling single in Amuro's discography since 2001's Say the word. It is also her highest charting single on the monthly charts since her single RESPECT the POWER OF LOVE in 1999. Because the single sold 144,081 copies in 2007, it became the #48 single of the year.
