Information

BESTYO is the first best album released by Hitoto Yo. It features all of Hitoto's A-sides (except for "Yume Nakaba" on the "Edo Polka / Yume Nakaba" single), as well as three B-sides and two album only tracks. On top of this, a new song, "Tentou Mushi", was included. The song was composed by Kobayashi Takeshi (who wrote the music to "Tower" and "name", two songs released by Salyu for which Hitoto wrote the lyrics for). The first press of this album included a special package. The album has two more versions, the first was released in 2007: BESTYO+CONCERTYO contains footage from her BESTYO FREE CONCERT, while BESTYO+INSTYO, contains instrumental to all the tracks that appears in the album and a third disc containing the singles she released in 2008. The album reached #2 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 88 weeks. It sold 322,747 copies in 2006 and became the #41 album of the year. BESTYO+INSTYO reached #100 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 2 weeks, selling 2,386 copies.
