"Black Velvet" is the sixth single released by ClearVeil. This was released in two different CD only versions (Type A & B). Each type contains the A-side, but has a different B-side song. This is the first part in a two month consecutive single release plan, with "White Satin" being the second. Along with "White Satin", this single is a new concept single. The single reached #157 on the Oricon weekly chart and charted for one week, selling 324 copies.
