Information

"Buiikikaesu" is the fifth full-length album from Japanese rock band MAXIMUM THE HORMONE. The single reached #5 on the Oricon charts and charted for 117 weeks, selling 293,406 copies (as of 2009.07.06). It was certified gold in by gold by the RIAJ, selling 100,000 units in Japan and 250,000 units internationally. As the album sold 216,761 copies in 2007, it became the #49 album of the year.

The tracks "What's up, people?!" and "Zetsubou Billy" were used as the second opening and ending themes for the popular anime Death Note (episodes 20-37). The track "Akagi" was also used as the ending theme for the anime of the same name (episodes 1-13).
