BUT / Aishou is Koda Kumi's 35th single, released in CD+DVD and CD only versions, and both limited edition. The single was released on the same day as Kumi's third compilation album, BEST ~BOUNCE & LOVERS~. BUT was used as the theme song for the Japanese release of the movie Step Up. The first press of the single features a special remix of BUT by B-Money.
