"Dareka no Tame ni ~What can I do for someone?~" is AKB48's second digital single. It was released to help raise money for victims of 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. AKB48 stated that all profits from the sale of this single would be used for those victims. A music video was produced to promote the single. The song is a new version of the one previously released on the DVD Team A 3rd Stage "Dareka no Tame ni".
