"Fuyu no Opera Glass" is Nitta Eri's first single. The title song was used as the ending theme song for the program Naruhodo! The World. It is also the first single to reach #1 on the weekly Oricon charts for four weeks, selling 320,000 copies. She would be the only idol singer to have her first single to reach #1 on the charts till 1994 when Uchida Yuki achieved this. The single also reached #13 on the yearly Oricon chart for 1986.
