"Hitomi wo Tojite" is the 20th single released by Hirai Ken. The title track was used as the theme song for the movie Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu, while "DESPERADO" was used as the CM image song for Kirin Lager Beer.
The single reached #2 on the weekly Oricon chart and charted for 59 weeks. It sold 893,134 copies, becoming his best selling single to date.
