Kobuchi Kentarou (小渕健太郎) is a Japanese singer, guitarist, lyricist and composer. He is one of the two members and the main composer of Kobukuro.

  • He began playing the guitar because he was fan of the guitarist Okuda Tamio, member of UNICORN.
  • He was 18 when his mother died. The song "Tooku de.." included on Kobukuro's first indie album, Saturday 8:pm was inspired by her death. Years later Kobuchi composed the song "Tsubomi", also inspired by her death.
  • He worked as termite exterminator after he finish high school.
  • He is commonly known as "Kobukuro's smaller one" (コブクロの小さいほう) .
  • He is good at drawing. He has designed some of Kobukuro's covers and tour goods.
  • He is a fan of Mr.Children and BUMP OF CHICKEN.
