"Kuon no Kawa" is alan's ninth single, her first since her debut album Voice of EARTH It is the second of two theme songs for the Chinese movie RED CLIFF, and the Japanese version of "Chi Bi ~Da Jiang Dong Qu~", which was the Chinese theme song for "RED CLIFF Part II". It also features both version of the theme song of the first part of "RED CLIFF", "RED CLIFF ~Shin・Sen~" and "Xin Zhan ~RED・CLIFF~". The DVD contains the music videos for both Japanese songs without the movie clips seen in the commercial music video.
