"Kyouiku" is Tokyo Jihen's debut album, which reached #2 in Oricon charts and charted for 26 weeks. The album was almost completely written by Shiina Ringo, with H Zeddo M writing the melody for Gunjou Biyori, Genjitsu ni Ote and Service. Because it sold 383,815 copies, it became the #33 album of 2005. This album reached #13 on World Charts for album sales. The first track of the album, Ringo no Uta, was also the last single made by Shiina. While the lyrics are the same, the song (insturmentals and arrangement) is completely remade, to better adapt to Tokyo Jihen's musical progression. Shiina chose to maintain orthographic symmetry when translating the song titles to English, and therefore her English song titles are not exact translations.
