MICHI made her debuted at the age of 19 as an anisong singer from Okinawa. Her debuted single "Cry for the Truth / Secret Sky" was released on July 22, 2015 and the song were used for the anime Rokka no Yuusha. A half a year later she released her second single, "Checkmate!?" on January 27, 2016. The single was used as the opening theme to the anime Dagashi Kashi.
