"Manatsu no Yoru no Yume" is the fifth public single release from Houkago Princess, and the seventh indies release overall. The single is the first from the group to come in 8 different types. This is also the first single to feature the 6th generation Cadet members Michishige Saho, Miyashita Maika and Sirosaki Himari.
Nagasawa Marina may not be featured in the single due to being on an indefinite suspension due to illness.
