Mina (미나) is a Japanese-American singer under JYP Entertainment. She is a member of the Korean pop girl group TWICE.

Her father, Myoui Akira, was an orthopedics professor at Osaka University and head of the future medicine development center.
Her grandfather was the vice president of the #1 paint company in Japan.
She learned ballet for 11 years.
She became interested in K-Pop after watching Girls' Generation.
She joined the K-Pop dance school URIZIP in Japan.
She ran into someone from JYP Entertainment while shopping at Umeda Hankyu department store with her mom, which led her to participate in the company's global audition in Japan.
She dropped out of high school and moved to Korea where she began training at JYP in January 2014.
