Natsukashii Mirai ~longing future~ ("Nostalgic Future ~longing future~") is alan's third single, released on July 2, 2008. It is the first in a series of five monthly singles representing the five elements, this one representing the Earth. The A-Side was selected as the promotional track for NHK's Save the Future program. The single is alan's highest charting so far, although not her best-selling. The third track, Gasshou [Natsukashii Mirai ~longing future~] is the same song as the A-Side sung by the Suginami Children's Choir ("Gasshou" means "choir"); alan does not appear in the song.
