Okoshi Takayo (大越貴代) is a Japanese pop artist. She is best known as TAKAYO, former leader of the all girl band ZONE. She left the group in 2003 to further pursue her education. In 2006 Takayo re-emerged as a solo artist under the indie label YAMANO Music.

Informations
Growing up, Okoshi was a very shy child. To overcome this her parents enrolled her into the performing arts school for children Studio Runtime. Went auditions came up in 1997 Okoshi entered to become a member of a new pop group. In 1998 she was one of the four final members along with MIZUHO, MAIKO, and MIYU.
The group as the dance-pop group ZONE in 1999 with the single "believe in love". After being signed to Sony Music Entertainment in 2000, the girls were all taught to play instruments, and made their major label debut in 2001 with the single, "GOOD DAYS".
Okoshi left the group in December of 2003 to continue her studies, and was replaced by TOMOKA. Her last single with the band was "Boku no Tegami". While in ZONE, Okoshi only sang one solo track, the song "＋.－.×.÷". The band wouldn't last much longer after her graduation, after another album the group disbanded.
In the year 2006, Okoshi re-emerged onto the music scene with the mini-album, "Takayo". Most recently she has released her second mini-album, "My Best Friends".
