Biography

Miwako started singing as a child and always wanted to be a singer . In high school, she was noticed during a concert she gave with a group of friends. She moved to Tokyo to begin her career at Sony Music. She released two singles in 2000 under the label DefSTAR Records. Shizuku and tsu-ki. Shizuku was used as the second ending of the anime GTO . Given the limited success of the single, Miwako's career stops. 3 years later, she returned to the music scene, this time under the label BMG Funhouse with single Aozora no Hate. In 2005, she released her first album, and in 2006 her second.

After the release of her second album in 2006, her releases became more sporadic. It would be almost three years before releasing a new single, this time under the name Miwa Okuda, and another three years before the release of the single "Jinsei ni Kanpai wo!". It featured two cover songs, and was released under her real name. In 2014, she teamed up with Amano Tsuki releasing the single Mugen.
