Information

Open The Gate is the second full length album released by Sugawara Sayuri. When information about the album was first released, an acoustic version of her song "Kimi ni Okuru Uta" was said to be on the album, along with "Sayonara Mata...", which had previously been included on her Close to You mini album. However, for some reason they were excluded from the final tracklist. "Itsu no Hi mo" was used as the ending theme for the TV show Fuji TV Friday Prestige. "Koi no Mahou" was used as the theme song to the movie Bingo starring Shimizu Kazuki and Matsui Sakiko from AKB48. The album reached a peak position of #63 on the Oricon charts, charting for two weeks.
