Pumpkin or PumpKin (パンプキン) was a Japanese pop idol group from 1987 to 1990. The group started in 1987 as a backing chorus for the singer Mizutani Mari before getting their own singing debut a short while later. After the release the third single, Soyokaze no Knight, Hayashi would quit the group and Ogawa would be brought in as the replacement. But, the group broke up in 1990 due to the members wanted to pursue a solo career.
