Following the television genre themes of their previous albums (i.e., education, adult, variety), this release deals with the idea of sports. The first press of the album comes housed in a gold medal embossed sleeve case. The two #1 charting songs, "Senkou Shoujo" and "Noudouteki Sanpunkan", were the lead-in singles for this album, and ULTRA C is the supporting promotional tour which started in March 2010. "Kachiikusa" was used as the commercial song for "Watering KissMint" gum and "Senkou Shoujo" was used as Subaru's "STELLA R2" commercial song. The album reached #1 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 19 weeks.
