"Step Up LOVE" is the fourth single released by DAOKO, and is collaboration with Okamura Yasuyuki. It was released in three editions: a limited CD+DVD and two regular CD editions Type A and B, all of which feature their own unique B-side. The first press editions came with a bonus gift which varied from store to store with featured goods from Kekkai Sensen & BEYOND and stickers with the CD jacket designs. Following the format of DAOKO's previous single "Uchiage Hanabi", collaborator Okamura worked as composer and produced the track as well as sharing vocals and lyrics with DAOKO. The Type B version of the single contains a new solo song by Okamura. "Step Up LOVE" was used as the ending theme for the anime series Kekkai Sensen & BEYOND.

The song was later placed on DAOKO's fifth studio album, THANK YOU BLUE as track #2. In 2020, it was also placed on Okamura's 9th studio album, Misao.
