Tanaka Kumi (田中久美) is a former Japanese pop idol singer. Tanaka got her start in 1983 when she won the Hori Pro Scout Caravan contest. She released her first single, "Thrilling", a year after with the catchphrase "Sparkling Eyeteen" (きらめきEyeteen). But her career was short lived as she went back home to Fukuoka in 1986. There, she married and then divorced, found work at a department store, and is now a radio personality.
