"wanna BE A Dreammaker" is globe's 13th single. The single was the first out of four singles for the singles project "BRAND NEW globe 4 SINGLES". First pressings of the single contained a booklet attached to the jacket that you could put the other singles that were part of the singles project. Meanwhile, the title track was used as a theme song for the NISSEKI "Ena Card" commercials. The single reached #1 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for twelve weeks, selling 500,190 copies. The single also reached #47 on the yearly Oricon charts for 1998.
