History

fra-foa began in 1998 as an underground band and until 2000, the group played in live houses and festivals around their hometown, Sendai. Then in 2000 they were picked up by TOY'S FACTORY, a record label specializing in underground bands. Mikami Chisako created the name fra-foa, cause she thought it phonetically represented a floating sensation that she would like to put in her songs. On May 2005, fra-foa played a last live marking the disbanding of the group.
